We had a wonderful time at the ranch. Rebecca and her sisters are very nice people, always providing us food and helping us when we needed. The accomodation was also very good. I spent two weeks at the farm and absolutely loved the experience. The community was so welcoming and kind, and the land is stunningly beautiful and abundant. It was peak tomato season when I visited and eating a tomato sandwich every day was a personal highlight for me. Your gardening/farm tasks are largely self-directed, although you can always feel free to ask what needs to be done or join housemates with their allocated tasks. The “intentional community” portion of the experience ended up being my favorite part— I got to join housemates on excursions and had some really beautiful, unforgettable experiences in the area. Will miss outdoor dinners while watching the sunset. An incredible first WWOOFing experience!

What great people! I’m so happy I ended up here, they truly started to feel like family. I weeded, fed the animals, and poop-scooped, and I loved every bit of it. Their home and property is absolutely beautiful. I’m forever grateful and feel so blessed to have had this experience. I also feel lucky to have seen such a genuine, organic love between the two of them and to have been welcomed into their lives.

10/10 — An Incredible First WWOOF Experience! I had such a wonderful time at Roniger’s Organics! The experience was extremely hands-on and immersive, and I felt like I learned so much in a short amount of time. Simon was an incredible teacher and taught me so much about the garden and different crops. Working in the garden was incredibly peaceful and rewarding, especially seeing the amazing variety of crops they grow. I visited during harvest season, so I got to learn the techniques for harvesting new crops almost every day, which made each day feel different and exciting. Marqui was extremely welcoming and responsive, especially since I came on such short notice. And after a long day in the garden, her homemade desserts were the perfect treat! I was also given my own cozy cabin, which made the stay feel really special. I typically live in a big city, so having the opportunity to slow down and experience country life was exactly the kind of reset I needed. This was my first WWOOF experience and my first time in Idaho, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. I felt incredibly welcomed, fulfilled, and grateful for my time at Roniger’s Organics. 10/10 experience — I would absolutely recommend it!

It's hard to sum up a much-needed month of nature, community, and beauty, leading to the closeness I now feel with Andrew, Lauren, and their family. Right away when I arrived in New Hampshire I felt welcomed. It was mid June, a truly lovely time of year in that part of the country. I felt throughout my visit like I had arrived at just the right time, because of the gorgeous weather and the crops starting to turn but also because of the family's new baby, new location and community, and much newness in my own life that led me there. I spent time each day working on the farm, a community-owned property that is mostly cared for by a small farm team, weeding and watering and harvesting. We also cared for the animals, moving the chickens and cows and sheep around the fields. I spent a good deal of time, by choice, on domestic labor, when it felt like the most helpful thing to do. I really enjoyed trying out recipes based on whatever abundance of vegetables were available. I processed many garlic scapes into pesto and learned almost every way to cook a zucchini :) For logistics: staying with Lauren and Andrew feels more like visiting friends and becoming enmeshed with their life, rather than getting a job on a farm. If you're into that, their place could be for you. There's a little town you can get to by car, or a long walk, with bookstores and bars. There are also lakes to swim and mountains to climb nearby. Overall I would highly recommend and hope to be back very soon!
