Good day Wwoofers. I wwoofed for the first time in Hawaii 15 years ago and fell in love with it. I still enjoy winter wwoofing and love to bring what I learn from other farms back to Alaska. We also enjoy hosting people from Worldpackers and Helpx, We love producing food for the local community. We have 5 markets a week. There is a magical cat named Mu on the farm.
Help on the farm varies by season. In the Spring we spend our time prepping the field, sowing seeds, growing transplants, cultivating those seeds in the field, weeding, and watering. As we move into summer and fall helpers will have the opportunity to harvest and sell the fruits and vegetables that have been growing the past few months at the local farmers’ markets..
Food is provided for all three meals I cook Breakfast and Dinner for wwoofers and we have a community dinner as well
I love to hike as there are plenty of hikes in the area as well as camping and cold plunges there is also have a sauna on the property.
