Had a wonderful time at Tir na nOg farm! The hosts, Holly and Sue, are two of the most interesting folks I've met, both so full of insight and knowledge about many things farming and in the realms of traditional and folk music. The dogs, the food, the woods, the cows and pigs and chickens... everything coalesced into an incredible visit. I also was given a great introduction to this region of Maine, as someone who had never been to the area. Thank you Holly and Sue, I hope to come back!

I had such an amazing time with Jose on his farm! He welcomed me into his home for a wonderful WWOOFing experience and made me feel completely comfortable from the start. Jose is kind, genuine, and such a great educator—he shared so much knowledge about the land, farming, and life. His stories were awesome, full of wisdom and heart. I left feeling inspired and grateful for the experience. Highly recommend spending time with Jose if you get the chance!

Deb and her husband Chuck were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable! I learned hands on about caring for cattle, pigs and chickens. I fed animals every morning and evening and collected eggs. I helped a bit with their greenhouse, got to help pick the last of the seasons vegetables and weed their garden. They also showed me around their town and the surrounding area which I really enjoyed! The food chuck made was amazing too! It was very fun and a great first wwoof'ing experience! Thank you so much for having me and I hope to see you both again soon!

This was my first WWOOFing experience and I am so grateful for my time here. I was so lucky to be in Oregon during the fall when the leaves were changing colors and there were abundant activities to take part in on the farm. The host family is very welcoming and caring. I was able to witness all that goes into running this property along with homeschooling and an NGO. They work extremely hard and are willing to take the time to explain tasks/ assist when help is needed and broaden WWOOFer understanding. A majority of the work is independent and involves self advocacy, however, we have some community work days throughout the week. I was able to gain diverse experiences in tasks through caring for the wonderful animals, persevering produce, harvesting, and building projects. I am extremely grateful to have been able to work with the Parker Learning NGO assisting in the outdoor education classes. The Parker Learning community is extremely warm and welcoming. The hosts invited us to the community activities held on the property like full moon rituals and Halloween events. I was thrilled to have found such a wonderful community of WWOOFers during by my time here which made the experience all the more enjoyable. I was able to stay in the Barred Owl Tiny Home which was decorated with so much love. This property is a wonderland filled with bamboo trails, endless orchards, beautiful starry night skies and magical sunsets.

Trish and Jeremy were great hosts! They are very knowledgeable and super involved in their community and I felt like I learned alot in a short amount of time. The farm was pretty busy when I was there, so there were a lot of opportunities to meet people. The accommodations were really nice too, better than I expected. I would recommend to anyone.

I came to learn more about gardening I left knowing more about life Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about the principals of gardening and permaculture, managing a small farm, or hospitality. The lovely folks who own this farm are at the center of a vibrant community, if you're open & willing to give of yourself there is no better place to WWOOF!

WWOOFing at Veggies to Table was a pleasant and rewarding experience. They are operating a productive, versatile, and educational project that benefits their community. It was really cool knowing all of our hard work brought food and joy to people who need it. If you’re looking for a structured WWOOFing experience, this would be a good fit. You’ll work set hours (6hrs a day/M-F), usually consisting of tasks done in pairs, sometimes small groups, sometimes alone. Accommodations were very nice, food was provided by group grocery runs & the ample produce on the farm, and the staff running V2T are delightful. I spent my time learning and laughing while munching on good ol veggies… Not to mention the area is so beautiful, as is Maine at large >,< *0*

This was my first woofing experience and I stayed for around 3 and a half weeks! Tim and Betsy were friendly and welcoming!! The farm and surrounding area was beautiful and there was abundant opportunity for adventures (beaches and hiking galore). I was able to help with harvesting grapes, pressing apples/grapes into cider/wine, collecting eggs, feeding and watering chickens, painting signs, and random farm tasks. I LEARNED SOOO MUCH ABOUT WINE. The bathroom and kitchenette space were clean and lovely. One small challenge was that the bathroom/kitchen space shared a wall with their airbnb so there was an expectation not to shower or cook after 7pm or before 9am. But honestly I was just glad to have access to a clean shower. Altogether this was a really great experience and I learned so much.

I spent about a week working with tim and betsy at green bird cellars right after harvest season and learned so much about the winemaking process. they accepted me with open arms even though it was my first time on a vineyard and made me feel like an important part of their production. while at green bird, I got to learn about both traditional winemaking methods as well as natural winemaking, which is a rare opportunity. tim and betsy made me feel right at home in such a short period of time and I couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience in winemaking and farming.
