My partner and I stayed here all summer and really enjoyed the experience. We were very sad to leave! I'd recommend staying here to anyone, whether you are a seasoned veggie farmer or looking to learn about something completely new. You'll meet some truly excellent and welcoming people who have formed a sweet community around healthy and affordable food. The work expectations always felt clearly delineated and fair. Housing was comfortable and Simon and Marqui (and family) are the best hosts we could have asked for.

10/10 — An Incredible First WWOOF Experience! I had such a wonderful time at Roniger’s Organics! The experience was extremely hands-on and immersive, and I felt like I learned so much in a short amount of time. Simon was an incredible teacher and taught me so much about the garden and different crops. Working in the garden was incredibly peaceful and rewarding, especially seeing the amazing variety of crops they grow. I visited during harvest season, so I got to learn the techniques for harvesting new crops almost every day, which made each day feel different and exciting. Marqui was extremely welcoming and responsive, especially since I came on such short notice. And after a long day in the garden, her homemade desserts were the perfect treat! I was also given my own cozy cabin, which made the stay feel really special. I typically live in a big city, so having the opportunity to slow down and experience country life was exactly the kind of reset I needed. This was my first WWOOF experience and my first time in Idaho, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. I felt incredibly welcomed, fulfilled, and grateful for my time at Roniger’s Organics. 10/10 experience — I would absolutely recommend it!

I had an incredible time here. The farm is right near the Montana and Canadian borders. I was there for two weeks during harvest season, so I got to harvest squash, carrots, beets, kale, basil, dill, corn, and cucumbers. Work is four days a week from 8-4 with a relaxing hour lunch at 12. Other than harvesting, I also got to package veggies for store orders and the farmers market and help out with other tasks preparing the veggies for sale or storage. Harvesting was so, so much fun and very rewarding! Simon and Marqui are the sweetest hosts, and I loved getting to know them. They're very knowledgeable about their produce and Simon makes sure to vary the tasks to keep things interesting. Marqui made sure we were well taken care of, and the wood cabins are so cozy. I'd highly recommend working the Sandhill farmers market on Saturdays too - the marketgoers are super fun, and we also got to barter for various food items. Simon and Marqui give out a generous food stipend in addition to taking care of staples, and there's so many veggies to eat! I can't recommend this farm enough.

Simon and Marqui are the most amazing hosts ever. Our time here was beyond exceptional. We spent a lot of time in the fields, harvesting squash, beets, carrots, and more. We especially enjoyed going to the farmers markets and seeing all the vendors/trading with them. In our free time, we were glad to visit nearby falls, watch movies on the VHS player in the community kitchen, and hang out with the other cool WOOFers that were there. We would recommend this farm to anyone who likes to stay busy but in a way where it feels like time is flying by. Simon is a great supervisor, typically he will give you a task and then leave you to it, appearing again only when you're finished with the task, as if by magic. We could not recommend this farm more!

Wow, I don’t think there is a better farm to be at on all of WWOOF than this one! I just had the most magical experience! The surrounding nature is so beautiful and peaceful, the work environment is so positive, the farm tasks were so fun (especially during harvest season!), and the wwoofer cabins are so cozy and cute! And working at the farmers market was one of the highlights of my summer! And most of all, Simon and Marqui are the most considerate, kind, wonderful hosts! I am going to miss them, their delicious produce, and beautiful farm so much! If you are even considering wwoofing, this is THE farm to do it!

If you're trying to decide between here and another farm, look no further. I without a doubt picked one of the best farms out there and feel so privileged to have spent a summer here. Simon and Marqui are so knowledgeable and the work schedule allows for a perfect balance between learning, exploring, and resting. I was lucky enough to spend a whole summer at this farm and got to learn and experience a wide variety of tasks, from planting to harvesting. Outside of the garden, the area is gorgeous and I enjoyed lots of hiking and swimming. The community of people on and around the farm are wonderful and I can't wait to come back for a visit in the future. The cabin was an absolute dream spot to live in for the summer and I missed eating their vegetable as soon as I left. I can't say enough good things about this place, I'd just recommend checking it out for yourself :)
