Our farm is in the Coast Salish region on traditional S’Klallam land near the Dungeness River. We are active in the cooperative development, regenerative organic agriculture and farmers market communities, primarily growing herbs and fruit in perennial and agroforestry systems.
Farmer Shae holds down the anchor business for the land. Also living on site are 1 elder, Shae’s partner Isa, 2 teens, many farm animals.
Short notice daytime or <week visits are great for folks that wanting a landing place with opportunity to support the lands ecology and path-side hospitality features; like trail maintenance, orchard care and woodland-noxious) weed removal and placemaking. Placemaking example: The Welcoming Garden in the orchard. Established by KW, it plans to hold a planter-bench with coriander and strawberries; a foot wash and drinking water setup, and guest gardening space.
Typical Routine:
Walk the land most to review the present needs and set goals. Route may stretch to the 400 acre county park trails and river rambles nearby.
Average work day is 2hr field, 2-hour office/production as teams when available, 2 hours watering/harvesting or self-guided projects
Accommodations:
We have two hospitality spaces. 1: travel trailer (stocked with basics, functions as wwoof kitchen/office) 2: multi-purpose yurt (has a just-add-hot-water pantry, summer used for herb drying, winter field office and hall). We have an all-hands dinner or lunch once a week.
There’s a outdoor-flush toilet, shower and sink by the barn, and a bathroom building with hot/cold sink in another production area. BYO tent or car, we have some available for wwoofers to use.
Culture:
Our hobbies are burro back training, hiking, music making, art, dance, flow arts (staff, poi). Wintertime usually watching Korean rom-coms dubbed in Spanish or documentaries on movie night. Summertime fishing and exploring as much as possible, cooking outside and watching the birds eat weeds and berries.
Through 2026 we’re hosting monthly farm tour + open space events around a theme determined by each months organizers that supports regenerative systems, culture repair and co-learning (in a easy fun way). Totally down to integrate planning these with folks wwoof-stays to help our guests find and build the community they seek.
