Lovely stay! Lovely people! I enjoyed learning the practical ways of group decision making, and especially their ways of dealing with conflict within the community. You will surely learn something new about yourself here and potentially something transformative. Enjoyed working on the construction projects and connecting with the wide range of people living here.

My time at this farm was quite lovely.
There is plenty to do as the entire property is well on track to becoming greater and better.I was not limited to these but some of the things I've done were landscaping (weeding, cutting), tile work, sanding, tilling, and post setting.
The opportunity to be able to stay in a yurt and a teepee was a treat.
Though the work was good/great, what stood out to me was the community aspect. It was fascinating participate in their bi-weekly house meetings.
It would take me much longer than I would like to give a summary of it that would fit here but, briefly, it was very neat and instructive to see a close knit group of people collaborate together to discuss matters practically while also being an open, inviting space to share personal matters if one is inclined to.
SueLynn is a sweet soul and everyone else there are friendly, interesting, likable and empathetic; wonderful people all around.
Staying here was more than a work exchange and it would be great to come back. Thank you all!

It was my first wwoofing experience and it couldn't have been better. It is a great place on earth with wonderful and lovely people. It's perfect if you want to explore Santa Cruz and the Bay Area and do something meaningful at the same time. Everyone there is very nice and empathetic, you quickly feel at home. I would definitely do it again. :)

My first Wwoofing experience here was a wonderful one! Everyone is warm and welcoming, and I got an genuine feel for what it is like to live in an intentional community. I had the opportunity to work on various tasks/projects, including weeding, sheet mulching, goat milking, pruning, and building and preparing bedding for the vermicompost box. Living in the TP was comfortable and a lot of fun; waking up at sunrise, surrounded by glowing canvas and the sound of birds chirping, was both beautiful and energizing. The twice-weekly meetings were eye-opening, and I learned a great deal about what it takes to enable a community to thrive, where everyone is invested and passionate about the initiatives taking place. Thank you, SueLynn and the community, for a great learning experience, a beautiful property and garden, and all the moments we shared.

I am grateful for the opportunity to experience and learn from this thriving community! The whole group was very kind and welcoming. I mostly did lots of weeding, which became very therapeutic for me. I especially enjoyed bonding with and working alongside one other WWOOFer during my stay. The mandatory meetings were very eye-opening and inspiring, and I admire what SueLynn has cultivated there. Thank you for a great first WWOOFing experience!
