I lived with Anne Marie, Jesse , Jocelyne, Max and Cody for 4 weeks and they made me feel home as much as their guests. This is a place where you learn to work while being surrounded by happy human beings. It s a challenging place in which the main rule is organization but no stress. Everything can be done in time as long as you keep your head clear. So relax on the beach after work or hike around or bike through state parks. Thank you for this adventure !

I spent almost two months at the Historic Landmark House and learned a lot over that short period of time. I am now better at getting tasks done quickly, thanks to Jesse, who has a tremendous work ethic. He also gave me more confidence in myself and showed me that anything is possible if you really apply yourself. Annemarie and Jocelyne taught me many things about cooking and nutrition. They prepared some of the best meals I have ever eaten! I am now more adventurous in the kitchen, thanks to them. Jesse, Annemarie, and Jocelyne really welcomed me in and made me feel like a part of their little community. They are all very knowledgeable, talented, and hardworking people. Their property is very beautiful and features great views of the ocean in the distance. It was the ideal place to WWOOF!

I just spent the last 4 months at Historic Landmark House for my first WWOOFing experience. It was a wonderful and rewarding time. I was pleasantly welcomed and fit seamlessly into the family and work dynamic at this unique environment. This position requires just as much inn keeping as it does outdoor projects, so it offers a wide range of work opportunities. Accommodations and living situation worked well for me. I truly appreciated my time with Annemarie, Jesse, and Jocelyne. Highly recommend.

Jesse and Ann Marie are one of the nicest most generous people iv'e ever had the pleasure of meeting! I stayed with them this summer of 2017 and it was absolutely such a blessing. While I was there, I worked in the B&B in the mornings and got to meet so many nice people that came through! In the afternoons Jesse and I worked on the barn doing carpentry work were I learned a lot about certain tools and techniques on building. The beach is only about a mile away so I would head down there every night I could or just visit Monterey! I will miss the house and you all so much and I can't wait till I come back to see what progress was made. Thank you so very much for having me and allowing me the opportunity to learn and grow! Hope to see you all soon!!! Maxwell

Jesse, Annemarie and Jocelyne are truly amazing and wonderful people. We were suppose to stay a month and ended up staying two. Running the Bed & Breakfast was not only a great learning experience but fun too. We also learned about construction, bee keeping, chickens, gardening, hospitality and so much more. The location is amazing! Beaches, art galleries, great food and the aquarium. I would highly recommend this wwoofing location. We were so sad to go as we felt that they had all become our extended Seaside family. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was my first long term WWOOF spot and I got way more out of it than I was expecting. Jesse, AnneMarie, and Jocelyne are all amazing people with so much to offer. With Jesse I learned construction skills, beekeeping, and how to manage many projects at once. After working with AnneMarie, I am confident that I could run an inn on my own. She is an artist in the paint studio and in the kitchen, and is always willing to share her creative mind. Jocelyne taught me a lot in the garden. I loved having philosophical conversations with her throughout our stay. I truly felt like family with them all.
