Hello Friends!
We are looking forward to hosting you at our slice of paradise in North Carolina! Our 7.34 acre homestead startup is nestled in a rain forest valley just inside the border of NC from GA. We are surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest tucked away in the woods with three ponds. We have an orchard of pears, plums, and peaches. Our goal is to grow enough food such as vegetables and fruit this season to feed ourselves through winter and have plenty to share with you, friends and family. Please note that we are not a big farm operation but a family homestead. We do almost everything ourselves and are learning as we go.
-------------------
HEALTH: We invite individuals who take care of their physical and mental well-being and practice healthy choices that are considerate of themselves and others. *For now, we are not accepting smokers. Sorry.
REFERENCES: We require 3 solid references as part of our intake form.
ALL ARE WELCOME: No matter your beliefs, orientations and transitions, or season in life, we respect your right to lead your life as you desire, and honor all people from all walks of life.

-Make both physical and mental self-care your responsibility.
Stay/Accommodation/Transportation:
Length of stay depends on you and us. It could be a day, weekend, or longer. We offer a tiny home (330sqft) we affectionately call the “Doghouse” with two bunkbeds plus a twin bed, shower/toilet, full kitchen and washer/dryer. It’s ideal for a single person, a couple, two friends or two Wwoofers. Three people are doable too. We are ok with dogs but it really depends. An RV or Camping is also a beautiful option near the ponds w/ an outhouse. :-)
Children:
Let's discuss if you have children to bring. In our experience, 13 years old is probably the youngest we can accept.
Pets:
Let's talk if you'd like to bring a pet. However, we cannot accommodate cats as we are allergic. Sorry!
NO INTERNET - expect to unplug if you don't use AT&T. You can hotspot to our phones to text or to check emails or drive about 15 minutes into town for WIFI and service to your network. Please don't be hopeful about this. :-) Verizon, T-Mobile, etc. will not work on our property.
Meals:
• Will accommodate allergy and diet requirements.
• Cook/share some meals together.
• Will provide groceries for simple breakfasts and lunches/snacks.
Fun Things To Do:
