10 acre farm and fruit orchard on the south side of Maui Hawaii
Hawaii
Aloha e,
Our 10 acre farm / fruit orchard is on the South side of Maui, within a short walk to Makena State Park (Big Beach & Little Beach)
We grow over 100 mango trees, citrus, avocado, papaya, squash, dragon fruit, pineapple, turmeric, moringa, and a variety of vegetables. We practice an organic method of permaculture/agroforestry and are working to achieve a higher level of sustainability using solar power and reverse osmosis water filtration.
March 2026: Farm management has changed from Ti (Tilikum) to Robena & Peter Rehfuss
We offer accommodation for up to 5 WWOOFers at a time.
We are open to having respectful, hard working individuals who value the principles of having a strong work ethic and high integrity.
Our Wwoofer Interns are treated with respect and kindness and participate in all aspects of orchard life - from seeding to harvesting.
We have a shared kitchen, personal cabin/tents with beds, a laundry room, composting toilet, and shower.
Basic vegetarian staples are provided. We do a big shop for the crew every 2 weeks. Our Ohana is meat, drug, and alcohol-free.
We give preference to hard workers who can tolerate heat and who can stay for a minimum of 5 weeks. The work trade is 25 hours a week. Usually 5 hours a day/5 days per week.
The farm is walking distance to beautiful beaches, hiking, snorkeling & about a 15 minute drive to the town of Kihei.
Please feel free to email us with any questions you may have. We look forward to meeting you!
Organic methods: We grow a variety of biomass trees used to make mulch and compost. We make our own compost teas and extracts to improve the soils fertility. We also use a number of native trees and drought tolerant species to assist in the development of our orchards.
Certifications: We are in the process of certification
Current projects: We are always working on the health of our trees and plants. Currently we are upgrading our reverse osmosis system and in process of going off grid with solar.
A great opportunity to learn about self reliance in the age of climate change.

I had a truly wonderful experience at Ti's farm. Ti is amazing and clear about what needs to be done. There is lots of weeding, planting and harvesting to do. This farm is for those who want to work helpfully and actually want to make a difference- it truly pays off and is so worth it. The nearby beach is wonderful and Maui is a beautiful place to explore once you have your checklist/hours done. Come prepared to make a positive difference! I also made two great friends here that I will keep up with for the remainder of my life. Thank you Ti for making this farm a safe place for you and the one's you host!

If you find yourself here, consider yourself very blessed. Each part of the experience was ideal, thanks to Ti - a warm and welcoming host + fair and helpful farm manager. The cabins are clean and well-maintained, with clean towels and linen. There's a fantastic laundry machine (which should not be taken for granted in the world of WWOOFing!). The kitchen is always well-stocked with healthy, high-quality food. Along with the fresh produce grown on the farm, WOOFers are well-fed here.
The land itself looks over the ocean and is just a ten minute walk to Big Beach, one of Maui's best spots. The sunsets from the property are also magical. Although this is a proper farm, it's also well-connected to town, just a 15-20 minute drive.
It's clear the owners of the land truly care about its well-being and are contributing something generative to the island, with a deep respect for its traditions and culture.
I felt very lucky to meet Ti and learn from her vast experience in agriculture. Not only is she an effective manager, but also a hard worker, setting a good example for anyone who works on the property.
As someone who does not drink alcohol or eat meat, it was nice to stay at a farm that shares these values. If you eat meet and drink alcohol, you'd probably be better off somewhere else!

I had a great experience on the farm with Tilikum. The farm is in a nice spot, close to beaches and on the dry side of Mau'i.
The host is caring and the wwoofers spaces are nice and homely.
The farm cats are the best!
I highly recommend staying here if you are a keen worker, who is looking for a nice balance between work and other activities after work.

I stayed in tilikum’s farm for a month, with 2 of my friends, and it was a blast 🙌
Such a gorgeous place to wake up every morning. We did weeding, picking, watering and planting trees which was sometimes challenging, sometimes easier. Worked from 7 to 12 so it was nice to have all the afternoons to go at the beach which is just 10 minutes walking. We also rented a car every weekend to go explore all the island which was worth it as well because Maui is beautiful 😁
We felt very good at the farm, had everything we needed and Tilikum is just so nice and amazing. Thank you for the memories !
