Welcome to Our Homestead!
Hi there! I’m a homesteading wife living a full and rewarding life on our little farm, and I’m looking for a helping hand (or two!) to share in the daily rhythm of life out here. We raise chickens, pigs, a cow, and sheep — so there’s always something to do and plenty of animals to love.
My husband works full-time off the farm, so I manage most of the day-to-day and could use help in all areas — from feeding and tending to the animals, to maintaining our hard-working farm dogs, and even lending a hand when it comes time for butchering. Whether you’re experienced or eager to learn, I’d love to have you join in.
In return for your help, you’ll enjoy homemade meals — breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks (yes, we always have coffee on hand!). We also have Wi-Fi available, so you can stay connected while enjoying a peaceful, slower-paced lifestyle. We have two amazing guest room fully furnished with closet space and queen size bed and blankets, pillows and towels.
I ask that you choose either opening up the farm in the morning or helping with the evening close-up — whichever suits your schedule best.
If you’re ready for good food, fresh air, and a taste of homestead life, we’d love to welcome you!

I had fun at this farm. I learned more about gardening. Work included weeding and transplanting plants. I enjoyed the pigs, chickens, cats and dogs. She's nice and I am thankful for the experience.

I can not recommend this farm enough. It was an incredibly rewarding experience. From the time I got there, K'dee and Joe and Willie made me feel so welcome and included. Just talking logistics...They have a list of projects you can pick and choose from, which I greatly appreciated. Their room for wwoofers is so comfortable (I had some of the best sleep I've had in a while). K'dee makes stellar food. They have an awesome collection of DVDs for your leisure time at night. They are very flexible with your schedule and are always willing to teach and help with anything you need.
More than just logistics...they are all just a joy to be around. I loved having coffee with K'dee in the mornings and helping her feed the pigs. K'dee is such a gem and is full of positive energy, endless patience, laughs and great stories. I'll miss my conversations with K'dee a lot. It's fun to work on your project(s) during the day and then have dinner with K'dee and Joe at night! They are excellent company. They have so many dogs that are so fun to have around too! The dogs just go around being cute as heck all day long. K'dee and Joe are learning as they go along and they are so honest and open. They are interesting and refreshing people who made a big change moving from California and who make it look fun and inspiring. For anyone needing a positive experience that will restore/encourage your zest for life and doing things, I recommend going here! I'll certainly be back when I can. : )
