This is an organic farm and vineyard located in the hills of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. The vineyard is the main enterprise and is comprised of five main cultivars- Gruner Veltliner, Muller Thurgau, Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir. We turn most of our fruit into wine while selling the rest to other wineries in the area. We also have an acre garden, chickens, and sheep. We are a young couple and home to 3 dogs. We are eager to show how to bake, cook from scratch meals every night, and go hiking to share in all of oregon's beauty nearly every month. We are educators at heart and want to show and share everything we have. We are also learning ourselves and would love to learn from our skilled woofers! Project- In addition to all of the maintenance and yearly vineyard tasks, we are expanding our garden and introducing more livestock this year. We will have chickens we raise for meat in addition to our current egg layers. We are a small family operation with never more than 1 or 2 employees. In January-March, the main task in the vineyard is pruning and brush pulling. In the garden, brassicas and preparing new beds for the upcoming season. Also baby chicks! March-May- the most beautiful time of year where everything is in bloom. Shoot thinning and trellis management in the vineyard is the #1 task, Cherry harvesting, planting out the summer vegetables, and rearing chickens. We also do a big bottling run where we bottle all the white wines made in the previous year. June-August- In the hot summer is the height of growing season! Hedging, canopy management, and beautiful weather is in store for us. The garden is usually in full swing and we reap the benefits of our hard labor in the spring time. Rafting on the river is a weekly activity, and when we are finished with a hard days worth of work we BBQ and smoke meats for big meals in the evening! September - November - the most magical time! This is harvest season, and is the most rewarding and hard work of the year. Most of the work is done in the winery where woofers will learn the process of making wine and harvesting. We make just under 2000 cases. Depending on the preference of the woofer, you will either help in the vineyard or help in the winery with the winemaking process. These are long days and are very much “work hard, play hard”. Tomatoes are also being harvested and turned into tomato sauce for the following year. November - December - is our rest time, where we work on projects for the following year. Water reclamation, property cleanup, and building new beds and animal shelters. For harvest season we will only accept stay lengths of 1 month or more. Woofers can expect to start working at about 8-11 am, and work for their designated activities until about 3 pm for 5 days a week, or put in 3 longer days for 25 hours worth of work a week. Meals can be made for your all dietary restrictions, and Alexis is a trained chef that wants to make sure everyone on the farm is fed a hearty meal. We can offer cooking from scratch lessons, as well as growing your own food and baking. Dogs are allowed on the property but not cats (due to allergies). All dogs must be potty trained and with no prey drive. (chickens on the property have been subject to terrorizing that we no longer want to tolerate, but we understand how animals can be). We have 3 large dogs of our own that we insist that animals brought on the property get along with. Wwoofers will have access to their own bedroom in the farm house and a shared bathroom. (if there is only one woofer at the time, the entire bathroom will be theirs). There is local hiking, swimming, farmers market, and potentially free wine tasting to any tasting room supporting the industry. Randy and Alexis love outdoor activities and the wine industry. Our hobbies include board games, gardening, blacksmithing, pottery, and reading. Our favorite genre of book is fantasy. While hard work is the core of getting our small farm sustainable, we also like relaxing by the fire (fireplace in winter, campfire in summer), hiking, and drinking wine :)

I visited this vineyard in October 2025, and had a great time! I caught the end of the harvest season, and participated in winery tasks including pressing, punch downs, analysis, cleaning, and topping. I also did some garden work, prepping the beds for the winter. Our schedules were flexible, and meals were DIY or shared depending on the day. Randy and Alexis were great hosts, and incredibly knowledgable. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in learning about winemaking, they are real pros!

Wow! Alexis and Randy are a dream team—knowledgable, creative, devoted and self-starting. The way they steward the land and the vision they have for its regenerative future is inspiring and they implement it every day. They are amazing hosts, generous, fun and inclusive, and they make excellent food. This was my first visit to a vineyard, so I learned a lot. I stayed for 6 weeks in May and June. The work is diverse, from caring for the chickens, lambs and dogs, and the veggie garden, to wiring and thinning the vines, to bottling the wine and labeling the bottles, to helping with the tasting room visits and events. Gathering for dinner every evening was always a joy, with everyone pitching in to help. It was easily one of my best wwoofing experiences to date. Finally, a shout out to Matt for all your care and fairy ways and flute playing and generally keeping the place running smoothly. If I return to Oregon, I'll definitely be visiting again. I wish you all a splendid future of wine making, land regeneration and thriving in community.

Randy, Alexis, Sora, Nova, and Archer were such good hosts. The work is varying and there’s always something to do. Alexis is a great chef in addition to a master of wine and keeps a lovely household. So happy to have stayed with this crew!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks and loved every minute of it. The farm is beautiful. Our work varied from taking care of dogs, chickens, and the vegetable garden, to working in the vines, to house cleaning projects, to yard work. Work times are flexible, and we were able to do some traveling while we were here. Alexis and Randy are charismatic, warm, and fun people to be around. They made us feel welcome from the beginning. We enjoyed cooking delicious dinners & wine each evening after a day of work. We had a lot of fun spending time with other WWOOFers as well. The location is great - less than 2 hours from Portland/Colombia Gorge, Eugene, Silver Falls, and the Oregon coast! We will hopefully be back for harvest in the fall!

I had such a positive experience and highly recommend it as a WWOOF site. Randy and Alexis maintain a warm and joyful environment at the vineyard. They care about their WWOOFers, appreciate their work, and ensure they have a good experience. The work hours are reasonable and flexible, and you can state what you want to focus on. I spent my time cleaning and organizing, and I raised wires in the vineyard. Alexis and Randy were always willing to answer my questions about wine and how to take care of grapevines. (They also have a comprehensive book on grapes available if you want to read about different varietals.) Five dogs, two of whom work in the field, live at the vineyard. If you’re a dog lover, you will have plenty of targets for your affection! Randy, Alexis, and the other volunteers and staff made me feel as though I had always been part of the crew. We ate delicious homemade dinners every night, chat, and try various wines. After dinner, we’d play games and hang out. During my stay, Alexis and Randy organized a floating trip down the Willamette, and I went on a couple day trips with other WWOOFers and employees to the Oregon Coast and Silver Falls. Randy, Alexis, Cyd, Snow, Matt, Liza, Jordan, and Garick, thank you so much for welcoming me into the farm family. I am going to miss being a part of things there. I cannot wait to return. Until next time!

We had a marvelous time with Randy and Alexis. We stayed with them for the entire month of April and were given many different learning opportunities to choose from. If you are interested in vineyard work or like helping out with the garden and animals this would be a great fit. Having any prior experience in these fields would be helpful, for both Randy and Alexis are busy people. We were very lucky to have found this place and highly recommend to any wwoofer we may meet.
