Hello,
My name is Susan and together with my husband ,Mike own a homestead originally settled by his mother 70yrs ago. We have 3 cats, one pyrenees and a multitude of hardy free range chickens. I'm a retired RN and my husband continues to operate a sawmill and commercial dives for cucumbers.
As it rains an average of 12FEET /year here, our days are dictated by the weather with a variety of projects on the list. which include : installilng and maintaining fences for a projected fruit orchard, planting or havesting from a 20x48 ft high tunnel, building raised beds .
We would provide food for breakfast and lunch to be axssembled by woofer and dinner provided by host. We are not vegetarians but would be open to learning this cooking style. We generally have salmon 2x/week. Several indoor sleepingl quarters are available with an outhouse .
We have kayaks for use, hiking always available, swimming at your discretion as we're on beachfront and water can be a bit chilly. Mike is an avid outdoorsman and hiker .
