Hello, my name is MaryKay. I am 60 year old widow. I have been building a Christian camp for children. I have forty acres . 13 laying hens, 5 dogs and four cats. My current project is building a new chicken coop, repairing fences and build structures. IE (outhouse, showers, garage, chapel , and more) There is wildlife in the area . Turkeys, Javelina‘s, deer, elk, bear, mountain lions, wild bulls. There are rattlesnakes, bull snakes and scorpions. My typical day begins with reading devotional and the Bible. I wake up around 6:30 AM I feed the chickens , dogs and cats. Every other Thursday is trash day and to town for supplies. Saturday I clean chicken coop in the morning. I work 4-5 hours a day except Sunday I watch church and relax. I work on various projects throughout the camp. Building cabins, outdoor showers ,weeding , cutting trees and firewood, sorting and organizing contents in the outbuildings. Using the tractor . Every day is different. I am learning how to work on small engines. Generators, weed eaters, rototillers. I usually have three meals a day. I cook home style rarely from a box. Can accommodate if there is special food requirements. When we go to town we will eat one meal at a restaurant. I have a spare bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a queen bed, a full size bed off the laundry room and a queen size bed in the enclosed porch. In the house. There is a cabin that has a queen size bed, a cabin that has a set of bunk beds and full size bed. The cabins have an outhouse nearby. The main house has a guest shower and toilet. There is WiFi, satellite , television also a camp telephone. I love to share about Jesus. I enjoy cooking, singing, reading ,jigsaw puzzles, knitting, visiting with others and riding the trails on the side by side. There is a swimming hole down the road. . The neighbors are great. We all help each other when we can.
